The Canopia ST Sedum Plug System - INVERTED Roof is designed for inverted roofing applications to provide a low maintenance, drought tolerant green roof solution, using plug plants to allow greater flexibility of design layout. It is suitable for use on specified Icopal root-resistant flat roof waterproofing systems.
The substrate depth provides added ballast weight for inverted roofing applications
Using plug plants allows flexibility in design and species layout
Sedums are able to store water in their leaves making them very tolerant to periods of drought and so an ideal choice of vegetation for shallow green roof systems
1. Canopia Drainage Board 20
Canopia Drainage Board 20 is used as a water reservoir and drainage board.
2. Canopia Filter Fleece FIL105
Canopia Fliter Fleece 105 is used as a filter fleece to reduce the amount of fines particles reaching the drainage layer, and as a separation layer betwen pebble borders and the growing substrate.
3. Canopia Extensive Substrate
Canopia Extensive Substrate is blended growing medium designed to provide a balance of water retention and drainage to create the ideal root environment for succesful plant growth.
4. Canopia Sedum Plug Plants
Canopia Sedum Plug Plants are a mixture of sedum species supplied as small plugs growing in trays used for planting up extensive green roofs.
5. Canopia Aluminium Edge Detail (100mm)
Canopia Aluminium Edge Detail (100mm) is an 100mm high aluminium angle, used to retain green roof build up and separate it from other areas including pebble borders. Suitable for use on roofs with a maximum pitch of 5 degrees.
6. Canopia Aluminium Connector (100mm)
Canopia Aluminium Connector (100mm) is required to fix the lengths of Canopia Aluminium Edge Detail (100mm) together. One connector is required per section of trim.
7. Canopia Washed Pebbles (20-40mm)
Canopia Washed Pebbles (20-40mm) are natural aggregates used to improve drainage flow rates around green roof details and create vegetation free borders and firebreaks.
