Canopia ST Wildflower Plug and Seed System - INVERTED Roof

The Canopia ST Wildflower Plug and Seed System - INVERTED Roof is designed for inverted roofing applications, to provide a wildflower meadow to encourage a diverse range of flora and fauna using wildflower /grass plug plants and seed mix to allow greater flexibility of design. It is suitable for use on specified Icopal root-resistant flat roof waterproofing systems.

  • The substrate depth provides added ballast weight for inverted roofing applications

  • Using plug plants and a seed mix allows flexibility in design and species layout

  • The seed mix is sown between the plug plants to promote further beneficial plant colonisation

Canopia Drainage Board 20 is used as a water reservoir and drainage board.

Canopia Fliter Fleece 105 is used as a filter fleece to reduce the amount of fines particles reaching the drainage layer, and as a separation layer betwen pebble borders and the growing substrate.

Canopia Extensive Substrate is blended growing medium designed to provide a balance of water retention and drainage to create the ideal root environment for succesful plant growth.

Canopia Biodiverse Plug Plants are a mixture of wildflowers and grasses supplied as small plugs growing in trays used for planting up green roofs.

Canopia Wildflower Seed Mix is used for sowing onto green roofs to provide a selection of different wildflower species.

Canopia Aluminium Edge Detail (100mm) is an 100mm high aluminium angle, used to retain green roof build up and separate it from other areas including pebble borders. Suitable for use on roofs with a maximum pitch of 5 degrees.

Canopia Aluminium Connector (100mm) is required to fix the lengths of Canopia Aluminium Edge Detail (100mm) together. One connector is required per section of trim.

Canopia Washed Pebbles (20-40mm) are natural aggregates used to improve drainage flow rates around green roof details and create vegetation free borders and firebreaks.
