Level growing medium thoroughly before laying the mats. Lay mats manually, with a minimum of 2 persons per mat required. Discard any dry, damaged, frosty or waterlogged mats. Lay mats diagonally or perpendicular to slope of roof. Butt joints together to prevent gaps. Do not stretch mats. As laying proceeds, firm mats to ensure full contact with the growing medium. Do not use rollers. Finish edges using whole mats. Brush in dressing to fill joints. Water thoroughly, immediately after laying and dressing until entire build-up is water saturated (30 litres/m2). Continue watering 2-3 times with 30 litres/m2, to keep moist until fully rooted in.

The Canopia Sedum Mat is to be used in conjunction with the other relevant and specified components of the BMI Extensive Green Roof System. It can be used on flat, (with minm 1:60 fall) and sloping roofs, (upto a maximum pitch of 20 degrees), with the appropriate accompanying anti-slip products.
