Tapered Insulation is a process for creating a slope or fall on a flat roof. It is essential when designing a flat roof that a fall is included as a way of allowing the water to run off of the roof, without a fall, water would pool and this, over time, would damage the roof.
Tapered Insulation ensures the thermal performance and falls within the roof are captured at the design stage and is a very cost effective and efficient method for managing these areas of a flat roof.
Our Technical Services Team are on hand to support you with project-specific tapered insulation designs, free u value calculations and condensation risk analysis.
