This highly interactive and practical course is designed to provide delegates with a sound knowledge of all elements involved in Occupational Health and Safety practice or profession to:
Identify potential hazards in the work area
Limit damage to persons or property in the case of an emergency
Follow procedures that apply to illness or injury in the work area

Course Content
Identifying potential hazards – hazards to be removed, reduced, or reported
Implications of exposure to hazardous substances and hazards.
Drawing up a health and safety plan.
Protective clothing requirements.
Statutory requirements.
Location of fire extinguishers, hoses, and alarms.
Identifying fire extinguishers type – and correct use.
Procedures for the identification of emergencies.
Reporting injuries involving individuals to the relevant persons.
Procedures for reporting and recording.
Procedures to be followed if an injury may lead to a claim against workman's compensation.
Incident report – written and delivered to the relevant authority from the staff member/s and stored safely
Pricing and payment terms (as per schedule)
R950 per person, excluding VAT
Alternative payment terms must be discussed and agreed upon before course commencement.
